Prior to his arrival, the students and mentors answered questions about themselves during a fun game and “first impression” awards were given out to students who stood out as they arrived at Carnival.
Miami HEAT player Shane Battier welcomed the Carnival Scholarship and Mentoring Program students back for the 2013-14 school year. Returning students met up with their Carnival “big” while the freshman “littles” met the Carnival mentors for the first time.
