Students Learn about SAT and ACT Testing
For our October meeting, Webber Charles from Breakthrough Miami spoke to the sophomores and juniors about testing and the college admissions process.
For many high school students, it’s time to think about taking the SAT or ACT tests. At the Carnival Scholarship & Mentoring Program, we know how important these test scores are for college admissions. We invited Webber Charles, director of student achievement from Breakthrough Miami, to speak to the sophomores and juniors about the college admissions process and the difference between the SAT and ACT tests. The group played Kahoot after his presentation, and the winners earned some nice prizes!
